Is it time let people buy mgp cards with gil?

So instead of asking for new items for a Gil sink how about gold saucer ones. Of course it would have to be a very poor exchange rate. Or just let the mgp cards be market trade-able. Very small Dev time for them and they can continue putting stuff on there rather then go for a wow tactic of 10k or w/e gold mounts.

Oh that actually gave me an idea, you can trade it for the mgp cards and then sell those on the market board. The devs could use whatever ratio of mgp to mgp card value so as not to flood the market with extra mgp. And the whole time getting taxed by the market board. I dunno if it would help you personally. Im just tired of the devs killing Gil income while doing nothing with Gil sinks.

That's not a bad idea. It would give people with a lot of MGP an way to exchange it for gil, and a way for those with a lot of gil a way to exchange it for MGP. Some people don't like the Gold Saucer and some people don't like playing the Market Board, or doing leves, etc.

That said, I don't think the devs would go for it. The things you buy for MGP seem to meant to be to be your reward for playing GS games.

Honestly I'd settle for a mechanic like the CE priority pass from Bozja in regards to winning cards. Spend MGP and get an increased card drop rate of 10% for the next hour. The process of collecting cards wouldn't be so infuriating if the rates weren't so abysmal.

Same could be said for any gil sink. Any increase in need or desire for gil makes it more valuable and would tend to increase gil buying.

I suppose there wouldn't be any active harm in it, but there's no particular need for it either. It's just another thing to grind for at Golden Saucer, and they aren't likely to remove grinds like that without reason.
