Repeat events don't tend to get new prizes - I think Yo-kai is an exception because it's weapon-focused.
It's just the same thing running again for the people who missed it last time.
Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!
I know they wanted to try to bring it back but they said they might have trouble fitting it in. Since then they’ve added Noctic TTC to the gold saucer vendor and that was a reward from the event. So who knows really.
WHEN?™
So sick of Moogle Tomes when this event hasn't ever come back around in, what, 3+ years?
I missed this event when it came out and have been holding on to hope it'll return one day... holding on to 200,000 MGP just for that car.
The thing is, the moogle event drags us back into ARR dungeons and the Ivalice raids, the FFXV event wouldn't, and the dev team's priority right now is making sure that everyone is doing ARR stuff all the time.
I wouldn't be surprised if they they run it back during the lull between the release of patch 5.56 and the launch of the expansion to keep people occupied, which was the same instance the event was launched before Shadowbringers the first time.
Rerunning of events, typically, takes many, many years for them to come back around. The FFXI events took even longer to be rerun, and even then mostly those were only added back because of the drought of content due to the onset of COVID, and some of them from all the way back in ARR have never been rerun. I get it that this event is one people want to see again, but I wouldn't hold my breath that it will return any time soon.
