I hope they're being sincere and they bring it back sometime next year. Still kicking myself for not getting the car mount!![]()

There were a number of problems with FFXV but I really enjoyed the idea of a road trip / camping thing, the quiet moment where you gather your group, chat, cook, and stuff.. it was neat. Reminded me a bit of what my brain played out back in the older FF games where you used a tent to get some stats back, or pay for an inn room, felt really 'classic' FF, and added a lot to the journey vibe. Sometimes a little bummed the campfires in this game don't do something just to mentally promote the idea you might sit around one for a bit (get a buff, restore stats more quickly, something). I liked that the FFXIV quest for FFXV cross-over had a few quiet moments akin to that, also all the FFXV music was a bit surprising lol. Like.. a lot compared to what they normally do. I kind of hope when they bring back the event they add a few more music pieces :3. . . .
While ideally the event just reoccurs forever on some big time table (like once a year), if they do put it into the cash shop I really hope they find a way to let players purchase the whole experience as a dlc bundle. The quests being banished to the aether is a little bit unfortunate. I find the seasonal would feel quite a bit better too if you could just purchase that season's event (can still buy items singularly but a seasonal bundle would be available to get it all as a package, and perhaps go on sale during that season's time frame). Something like one of each item, the quest chain, and the achievement. If they wanted to promote the bundle concept further while also seeming a bit 'customer friendly' (er) then they might have it where each year you get a special token when completing a seasonal event (achievement) that allows you to purchase 1 old seasonal item from all the seasons you've achievements earned from (whether purchased or present by playing it).

The FFXIII event ran three separate times. The event ran twice (I remember this being a new player when it ran the first time and not being high enough level to actually complete the event the first go around, and had to wait till the rerun to finish the event)
XV might come back around again... but also it wasn't THAT long ago that it ran the first time, and considering many events have two or three years between runs, I wouldn't expect it to happen any time soon if at all. It's possible that it just gets relegated to the cash shop.
As to the original question... the quests weren't really all that amazing. Pretty standard fare for limited time events. Though I also will admit that I wasn't terribly invested since I don't care for XV as much as some others do.
Once in 2013, and twice in 2014 (the second was part of the one year anniversary event that re-released multiple seasonal events). The items got added to Mogstation a year after the 3rd run.
As for when we get a re-run of FFXV, it's completely random. The event repeat timings don't follow any real logic in this game. It's really not possible to judge when. The only thing is that maybe COVID has put pressure on release timings, and if an event is needed to fill some gap later on in early 2021, we could see the FFXV event come back for that purpose.

Right... though we saw posts insisting it needed to be rerun within months of it being concluded. And unless there's some reason to bring an event around again quickly, like the two XIII sequels, they don't usually bring anything back quickly. As for using existing events to fill COVID gaps, they did this with the XI crossover events already, and unless there's another spike in Japan that delays development times again, we're not likely going to see another COVID related delay to run the event in 2021. So basically at this point, they run it when they run it... or they just add it to the cash shop since the 4-seater mount and outfit would be a major cash generator. As for when we get a re-run of FFXV, it's completely random. As far as I can discern, with FFXV no longer being worked on and Episode Ardyn being the last major content released, a repeat of the FFXV event is not likely. But then again, I didn't think they'd redo the FFXI event with Iroha, so I wouldn't write it off completely.I'm hearing recently that the Final Fantasy XV was very detailed and fun with its own instances and story?? I'm a new player and I'm so surprised that this event was somehow limited! It feels like it should've been permanent side content, are there any hints as to if it'll come back??
It was a pretty fun event, too. The fight against Garuda was kinda a pain, but the quest, itself, was a treat, especially for those who played FFXV. The four-person mount of the Regalia was a cool reward, too.

If we see it again it will probably be this time next year, for its fifth anniversary. I wouldn't mind seeing it sooner though, hehAs far as I can discern, with FFXV no longer being worked on and Episode Ardyn being the last major content released, a repeat of the FFXV event is not likely. Need anniversary event where we Fight Yoshi.p, when you get him to 5% he trolls the raid. Stuns everyone heals to 100% and says "See you at the next live letter, Look forward to it." The fight ends with him disappearing and you walking away the victor.![]()
Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!

Nah I'd say it should be an event where we fight Tanaka, and he's really hard until Yoshi-p comes in and helps us slaughter him.
I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. They already said they were looking to bring it back soon, I'm assuming between 5.4 and 5.5 during "the drought".
