    I like many of the systems in Bozja, but similar to my other complaints with the game I'm not seeing enough new ideas in there. They said to not expect it to be like Eureka, but it's pretty much 80% like Eureka. Logograms/memories, lockboxes, FATEs, exp penalty for being KOed (why did this need to come back?), haste bonus equipment, etc. The weapon enhancement content was my one hope in an otherwise cookie cutter expansion, but they decided to rely on an existing system for this too. And the alternate method for enhancing weapons is... FATEs and dungeons outside of Bozja, like all previous 'relic' grinds. OK

    Eureka was garbage, I don't know why anyone would ever think it was better. Bozja's not perfect but it's at least better than Eureka which was literally nothing but a waste of time.

    WoW's focus is raiding and getting players to max level immediately. FFXIV's focus is more on story and the journey. As a result, most of WoW's gameworld is empty and abandoned, which is a shame because it's a beautiful world. FFXIV's world, by contrast, maintains varying levels of activity in all of its old zones. Especially now with the relics easier obtained in HW zones.
    I agreed with some of your points but this is kinda baffling. There is no reason to ever go back to a world zone in FFXIV unless you're a gatherer, while WoW's world is always thriving with people completing quests and doing endgame content that requires them to go back to old zones. FFXIV could honestly learn something from WoW in this regard.

    Like for real, think about it, when was the last time you went somewhere like eastern thanalan, or the peaks, or any side area in limsa lominsa, and it wasn't to gather or popping in to kill a hunt someone told you about in 2 seconds?

    I never did understand the EXP PENALTY FOR BEING KO'ED both in Eureka & Bozja. I always thought that was dumb. Why give a penalty because you're KO'ed & no one rez u.
