Some crafting mentors know what they are talking about, some don't. Just like with combat mentors.half the time when i see a crafting mentor i just ignore what they say as they don't seem to know what they're talking about compared to the combat mentors or full crown mentors. the crafting mentor just seems like a way for people to join novice network by grinding ishgard for a day (which also gives you enough collectables while you level). feels kinda cheating to me compared to the insane grind you need for combat mentor.
maybe they should just make a global chat already so people don't need to pretend to be a crafting mentor. anyone else roll their eyes when they see a crafting mentor talk? I saw one yesterday saying that Hrothgars are cute and I almost vomited.
Becoming a mentor only means you spent a lot of time in the game, not that you know anything.
Rolling of eyes I reseve for trolls.
