As a filthy DPS main, I normally don't have a problem with rescue when it's used properly; however, when I run into a healer that thinks they're saving me from an aoe when I'm either already moving out of it, or when I'm about to pop a cooldown to mitigate it or regain hp then it irks me to no end. Is it too much to ask that these healers let individuals set a precedent for stomping in stupid before wringing them by their necks with the rescue rope?

Rescue is apart of the healer toolkit much like Physick, Benefic 1 and Cure 1. Therefore, much like experienced healers will learn that unless they have to chain res a party (for some ungodsly reason) they'll never use their starting heals once they have the rest of their healing kit, newb healers will learn to either:

    1. Trust their party members to know what they're doing (keeping optimal uptimes and waiting til the last minute to move or know they're greeding and decide to take the hit anyway)

    or

    2. Be like me and let the dps learn the consequences of standing in fire.

Its annoying as all seven hells to be rescued when you know you're fine or will be fine, but most healers who use it properly are trying to learn.
