Constant crashes on XIV

Sometimes I can go a day without crashing, sometimes I can't go five minutes without crashing. It's so sporadic and will do a cluster show of them.

CPU Specs:
CPU - i9 - 9900K
Ram - G. Skillz Trident Z Neo 64gb 3600mhz
Mobo - MSI Z390 Godlike Mobo
GPUI - RTX 3080ti
SSD - Samsung 970 evo + 2tb x 3

Was gonna say.... How did you get a RTX 3080ti already ....


That said, Rainmeter is the likely culprit.
It sets up it's own display overlay using DirectX.
Final Fantasy also runs in DirectX, of which Rainmeter is likely using a higher Dx version than FF14's Dx11.
Running more than one version of DirectX at the same time can sometimes cause a Dx crash, at random.
Try fully disabling Rainmeter (or uninstall it) and see if the crashes stop.

Not specifically with FF14, but I have worked on several PC systems were the user had Rainmaker overlay running and it caused issues with other programs that used Dx for displaying content.
Again, it wasn't consistent, and not every Dx display program was effected, but it happened more if the Dx versions were different between Rainmaker and the program in question.
