    Dye storage QoL feature

This is a suggestion, something that bugs me a lot about dye storage. Would be amazing if we could, while using the Glamour Dresser, use the dyes stored in our Retainer's inventory or Chocobo saddlebag.

Currently I store all of them in the saddlebag, but it's very cumbersome when planning a new glamour plate. If only I could move them to my own inventory while using the glamour dresser, but not even that.

I would like dyes to be kept in the Glamour Dresser and to function sort of like a currency while in there. You could have the option of pulling them out if you need to trade or sell them.

This would be the best case scenario tbh! A Dye drawer or something like that.

Honestly, and I know a lot of people hate when I say this because "but that's my market!"

I wish they would do away with having individual pots of dyes full stop. I'd much prefer a system where you unlock colors, and once unlocked you can apply them at any time. They can charge gil for the dye to keep it similar to how it is now, but this would be much better than having to go make/buy more every time you want to apply a color. This system if how some other MMOs work, so it's definitely possible.

Would definitely be nice if we could store them in the glamour dresser itself. That would free up about 80% of one retainer for me(it is literally just dyes and materia).

Of course not having to hold all those dyes would be good too by making it so we just unlock the colour and then can use it, but I highly doubt we would ever see that happening.

I don't think that'd happen as several dyes are sold at the Mog Station. But good gods I'd love that; hell, make the Ishgard dyes cost 2000 scrips or more but you can use them anytime, I'd still buy them.

Yeah that is how guild wars 2 did it, made it possible to implement many different dyes without cluttering the inventory of people. Easy and fast to use, and the glamour even had multiple dye options for the same armor piece, so you could dye individual parts of a chestpiece as example. I always hoped they copy that system as some armor items are dying exactly the part you don't want to dye.

Would love to have a primary/secondary dye system!!

I was thinking of the ESO system, but it sounds very similar!

I would love to have the ability to dye something like the main armor piece one color while making the attached cape another. Though I can see that being a harder system to implement with our current setup. Feel like that would require a larger overhaul of the entire system whereas just making applying dye of any color cost gil would be pretty easy (also it could provide more incentive to do certain content, like if the new bright pink was tied behind contributing enough to the Ishgard restoration, it would make more players incentivized to do crafting/gathering so they can unlock it)

This is a great idea, I spend an entire retainer doing holding this and I need to purposely go grab them, annoying
