Main problem, and correct me if I'm wrong. Is that you have players giving too much hope into "coming in 2.0"ism and developers not stepping in enough to say, "Whoa! Not happening!" Instead we'll get a vague or "look into it" statement
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming the dev's I love me some dev comments and I follow every one of them.

For instance, the topic on Primal Loot, Why does the totems go into a loot pool, yet the weapon drops into a random players inventory. Instead of getting a direct answer on the issue, we get a run around statement saying, "Okay! We'll gonna lower the amount of totems you need! Ya'll happy?!" I guess I am a little happy and distracted, but our original question was not answered...

I'd be happy... if they took all our hopes and dreams and said, "Okay, here is what we will never ever do!" But of course, you destroy subscribers that way. xD

My biggest 2.0 disappointment will be: that people will STILL defend systems that are broken solely because "if they were broken they wouldn't have put them in 2.0!"

I am thoroughly excited for 2.0 and all that comes with it, new maps, content, races....etc.

The only thing I fear about 2.0, is that I'll miss the Xiv 1.0 world. Not only that, but fear that I can't go back. =(

Ahh back on topic~

My greatest disappointment is that any new class/job will over shadow the older ones making them useless.

Here is a fear!

I fear that the new zones will be too small, making it so only 2 parties of people are survivable in them.
That is if we even have parties by then.

I was just doing my favorite thing on FFXIV... crafting.
Fell asleep for 2 hours right in the middle of it.
Had a dream about crafting though... so maybe your right...

My fear is that certain fixes will not happen or be pushed back indefinitely due to not being able to make deadlines. Such things could be auction houses, jobs, ui improvements, gameplay improvement, pvp, and overall, some real endgame content. My biggest fear is that 2.0 will not deliver, and yet people will still be on these forums defending Square Enix because they are blinded by their fanboy nostalgia goggles.

I fear that because of the content finder the social aspect of the game will go down more Also Summoner. PLEASE please get it right this time. And RDM too...=( Oh and hoping that PVP works out well. I've never seen a game manage to have good PVP (L2 was fun but was kinda unbalanced with dagger OP)
