Updated BIOS, horrible idea. Please help!

So my ASUS g73 recently blew out a fan and had to send it in for repairs, when it came back it was/is working beautifully but they updated my graphics card to 12.3 (I have the ATI mobility radeon hd 5870). I remember hitting my head against the wall trying to find a version that was stable with ffxiv and wouldn't make it crash as soon as I tried to launch the updater but I've long since forgotten which version that is. So is there a better fix than roll back to a working/stable version for the crash on startup, or which version should I roll back to? Please help!

Was looking through forums alot of people say to install the catalyst drivers which would be problem #2 on the link I gave you. If it doesnt work sorry I don't know what else to do for you.

Thanks! This is the thread I read a long time ago that helped me with this issue but I couldn't find it again, unfortunately any attempt to change my CCC is currently giving me blue screen....at least I'm getting rest experience :-D and have time to figure out why my signature isn't showing my proper levels.

Hmm id suggest trying to uninstall your CCC drivers in safe mode? that might stop your blue screen, than if that works restart your computer again in normal mode and install your catalyst driver? is what I would think to do. As for your signature Enjinj.com which is where your signature comes from is a very horrible at updating info. on your character. I would suggest if you just want a signature like that to get it from http://xivpads.com/?Signature, hope that helps.
