Hardstuck on final quest of Realm Reborn (new player)

Hi guys, new player here.

Just wondering if there is a way to proceed the MSQ without doing The Praetorium. For the past 2 days I've attempted to find a group through duty finder which has led to sitting in queue for ~90mins before I've had to turn the game off. I've also tried to form my own party through Party Finder a few times to no avail.

Absolutely loving the game and really want to continue playing, but I've found myself hardstuck at this point and not sure what to do about it. Any advice is appreciated. Cheers!

The two MSQ dungeons are typically ran more after the Tuesday reset, due to L80 players wanting a boost to their tombstone weekly cap.
They are also typically hit daily around your time zone's "after school/work rush hours", by player getting their daily duty finder bonus runs in.

Otherwise, make sure you have all language options enabled in your Duty Finder settings, plus have the setting to join dungeons already in progress, so you can jump to the front in line when some currently ran dungeon has a player drop or get booted.
You can also queue up for the dungeon and then go do some other in-game stuff (leveling another job, crafting/gathering, doing FATEs or side quests, etc...) as when your queue pops, you have about 30 seconds to switch back to your queued-as job and/or finish quickly whatever you were doing. In other words, you do not need to be idle waiting in line

Thanks for the info! I suppose I'm lucky in the respect that reset is in a few hours, also coinciding with peak time for my region. Looking forward to getting it done tonight!

I had no idea about those Duty Finder options and will definitely turn them on.

Took my time in queue so far to start getting in to crafting. I'm glad there's so much to do! Thanks again

Remember the language trick, as it might come in handy again in the future. Your character is listed as being on the Carbuncle server, which is on one of the japanese data centers. If you dont have japanese selected as an ok language for matching you will find some ques take much longer then others. A few of the roulettes(leveling especially) are set to ignore language preference when there arent enough players queing, meaning some groups will fill at a regular speed(im sure this is partly how you got up to the praetorium in the first place). For the ones that dont, adding the extra language can mean the difference between waiting hours or minutes. Good luck!

Yeah, you absolutely need to have your duty finder set to all languages on this data centre. It makes a big difference to queue times.
