    Any use of this?

    I found this place while getting all the Gates for the exploration archivement, it was inside a cave north of Feathergorge Gate. Is this place was used before or have any meaning? When I examine it did nothing, if anyone know anything about it please share.

    I found that place too a few months back, I'm 99.9% positive that's where Garuda is supposed to happen.

    There are a few nodes like that, one of them became the entrance for Ifrit. What the original plan for them was? Who knows but there are alot of nifty places in the world with special object or landmarks nobody really knows about...

    Garuda is wind like the Ixali so think that make sense, now we know where our home point will be

    Yes. Lore-wise, purple nodes are corrupt aether gates created by the beastmen tribes. So like others have said it will most likely be the portal to the Garuda battle.
