    My Personal Feedback to 1v1s

    Hello!

    First of all, I know there are many Bozja related threads, but i'll just be discussing the 1v1s as that's the content I'm currently interesting within there.

    For any who don't know 1v1s are spawned when a certain fate is completed, then the following Critical engagement is completed (without taking a vul stack) then you get entered into a raffle essentially for the chance to face a boss.

    At the moment the biggest problem in regards to this 1v1s is actually getting into the fights to either clear or Prog, the biggest reasons I've personally noticed are :-
    -Competing against other people trying to queue (Obviously) As time has went on, more people have become more conformable with the fights and therefore have more people queuing in.
    -People accepting the challenge and either showing up then returning, or not even attempting the challenge even tho they've accepted
    -People accepting the challenge without knowing any information despite the game telling you it's difficult including (i.e no manawall, dispels etc)
    -Not having a enough people (alive) to actually clear red chocobo when it spawns / not enough people queuing into the skirmish
    -Sart not even spawning in most instances due to it's spawn conditions
    These are my examples, but feel free to share


    a few negative points this brings:-
    -At level 15 with a fair of gil, is there any point in doing most of the fates? Most of the CEs i visit, you're lucky if half the players even show if it's not vigil, red choco or sart fate chain, then if you do get it spawn and a random player enters with no prior knowledge and doing have the exact load out, they're bullied out out of the instance with comments like 'Stop queuing if you have no knowledge' and 'Stop
    taking the chances away from people who actually want to clear' There is arguments to made on both sides of this
    -Players who get hit mid fate with a Vul stack, just end up returning to base camp, since they're already 15 and only there for a chance of the CE


    I personally think a lot of this could be solved with a independent spawning currency that's not clusters, A currently that can only be gotten by partaking in Fates / CE.

    Lets say you want to spawn Lyon as an example, you go to map CEs and everything you do one, you have a chance to obtain a token, with a certain amount of these tokens you can actually spawn the CE directly, this way you're not taking some else's spot and you're in control of your own prog and not relying on RNG as a lot of players are practical learners and need to actually be in the fight to learn and not watching guides and kill vids.

    I understand however 1v1s are like a reward in themselves, and are meant to be 'rare' and bring excitement, but for me, the excitement has vanished and it's mostly frustration and disappointment.

    The other topic about this matter apparently got purged for some reason, but in any case, I feel this is yet another example of a good idea with horrible execution.

    The CEs tied to each duel spawn approximately only once every two hours even if you're in a busy zone with people constantly farming the magitek mobs, and when you're having to compete with 10+ people on average for the Gabriel duel, you can very easily go days before you get a chance at the fight, which is honestly ridiculous.

    Even though there tends to be significantly less people in the queue for the Sartauvoir duel, it still took me over a week of six to eight hour Bozja sessions and 20+ Metal Fox Chaos CEs before I got one chance at the fight (Which I ended up failing around the 20% mark due to a stupid mistake).

    There needs to be some kind of RNG mitigation factor on top of the existing requirements to queue for the duel at all.

    The Skirmishes that lead to the CEs that lead to the 1v1 Duels have a minimum 1 hour respawn. The criteria though is killing ~50 magitek in the vicinity of where the Skirmish spawns (this can be buffered), and making sure there are no other Skirmishes of the same FATE-chain up. For example, regarding the Gabriel 1v1 duel, if Skirmish "Murder, Death, Kill" is still up, then Skirmish "More Machine than Man" (which spawns CE Vigil for the Lost-> 1v1 Ace's High), will not spawn.


    In my view, these should be reduced to 30 minutes in 5.4. If you are chosen to do a 1v1 and you lose, instead of the 1v1 despawning, another eligible person at random can attempt, up to 3 attempts before the 1v1 despawns (since each attempt is a 9 min enrage, and assuming a 30min respawn, you don't want to have 19 people attempting a 1v1 @9min each preventing the spawning Skirmish from popping)

    So, what are all the fates needed for sart? Bar absent friends and steel and man? or whatever they're called
