I don't know the extent of the monitoring capability of the GMs, but try to note the exact date and time, world, and instance (probably just the the state housing district, ward and plot number). Possibly, the GMs can check the logs of those logged on on that instance for any anomaly.
I think GM really know what to do.. he must be know what time that plot housing was own by someone..
