Better Gate Rotation

I feel like Leap of Faith happens way too often in the gate timing rotation. We need more variety!

Yes I am saying this because I am not very good at it. Let's get that out of the way. I know you are gonna call me out so I am gonna do it before you do. You've seen me in /shout as I fall towards the abyss. Sometimes I don't even finish Leap of Faith. Yes I am that bad.

I have no incentive to do Leap of Faith as I can make the same amount of MGP winning R300 races in same amount of time.

I personally hated Skinchange, but yeah, more variety would be nice.

It's way too often Leap of Faith and then we also have Cliffhanger wich is also a GATE build around jumping. And I am really tired of these jumping stuff...

I miss the old events. If only they made one event after another. I know some events might overlap by 2 or 3 minutes but they could maybe wait 5 minutes per event. Also the RNG is bad, it's always Leap of faith and the slice is right. I don't remember the last time I played anything else.

Agreed. Leap is the only GATE that can happen in every time slot. They need to take down one of the Nyms and replace it with something else (preferably something non-instanced that we can do while queued.)

They do a thing where, when a new GATE is added, they increase the likelihood of it happening. The logic is sound, but maybe like... do it up until x.x5 of that patch. They have had this GATE cycle for several patches now.

Also, consider making Leap of Faith to lose its Duty classification, and instead be an area in that zone. This means you wouldn't run into people from the datacentre. On the other hand, this would mean you could do it while queued up for another duty. Also, you wouldn't be able to scam it, since like in Cliffhanger you would still need to talk to an NPC to start it. IMO Gold Saucer should be the PERFECT place to go while someone is waiting for their queue and 100% the activities should try to be compatible with that.

Lastly, big no to returning those old GATEs.
