After gamecrash character screen wont load properly

Heya
I had a in game crash, restarted the game, everything loads as normal, then i get main menu, choose start game, no problems, loading char screen, and: like magic my characters are not showing.
i do see my names, i see the halo that always apear at the feet, but my chars wont show, cant select them to enter game.

Is this happend to anyone before, never had this problem and playing for 6 months now.
i Restarted game, i Restarted computer, cleared my cooky history, cleaned my trash bin. resetted my router, tried with direct cable to comp, so i am sure this AINT my computer acting up.

ow btw i am on Balmung, and wanna state again: NOTHING has changed on my comp, i played till 2 hours ago. so if this is a server issue, then pls solve this, if it is something else, pls no standard answers, but clear plain english ( since i am dutch i dont speak anything else then Dutch and english )

I am experiencing similar issues. The client crashed while I was in the wards checking my retainer and upon attempting to re-log in, I too noticed that at the character selection screen I was only able to see the spinning halo. My Character's name on the right side is visible but my actual character within the halo is not. Also I am unable to do anything at this point. I can click and click on my character name to attempt logging in but to no avail. I too am also on Balmung.

A restart of my computer and modem has allowed me to now see my character but I am now encountering Server Lobby error message:

13006 The lobby server has encountered an problem.
Error Code: 1014
Status 0

I'd like to know exactly what is going on as I'd love to be in game playing at the moment.
