    You either missed breaking rocks, cleaning rocks, or hammering wood.
    There's not much variety to the events.

    Personally I'm fine with permanently missable events. That's the idea behind a living MMO.

    Well I don't like the living MMO idea, it kinda sucks you'll never be able to play the season 1 content in GW2 now and for the later seasons you have to pay to access them. Living mmos are cool while they last but suck for ppl who arrive later.

    You forgot the part where people miss out on the first few turn-ins because they couldn't find/see the supply piles or work sites.
