I think the first thing I'd do is cry, for Eorzea is quite a scary place. You can't put a foot outside the city without risking your life ;;
I guess I'd try to become a Conjurer, and earn money for food and glamours (glamours are always important).

Sit there wondering how the f did i get there, then start to wonder if I can actually communicate with the people... after that I'd probably get mauled to death because I'm sometimes unlucky like that.
I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e. My story's infinite Like the Longines Symphonette it doesn't rest- TMBG Birdhouse in your Soul
A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
I would be in charge of running Gridania or I'm leading a coup to be in charge (sorry Kan-EI was just daydreaming and started thinking, what if I woke up IN the game? Not as my character, but as me! (now that’s scary!) what would I do?
For me, the hunt is something I really enjoy, but god knows I have no actual irl skills that are currently useful in Eorzea! So I think that I would head to the Thaumaturge's Guild to begin my training as my beloved BLM, and begin to make a name for myself hunting down rare marks all over the planet. Some gambling at the Gold Saucer from time to time to unwind and a little fishing as a hobby.
There are so many other things I would love to do, but just can't think of them right now
What would you decide to do?) . Then, w/o the Scions, lead an aerial and ground assault on Ul'Dah for extra $$$ and resources to then stage a full blown assault on the Garleans and take as much of their land AND their people so we could storm Limsa and rule the seas. Basically I would distort and lead a corrupted version of Gridania until the Scions, along with the WoL, start their own coup to take me out and restore peace to Gridania and placing Kan-E back in charge and restoring order to Eorzea. Sounds like a great side story or prequel.
Let's see... considering I have no anima. No aetherial traits. No magical aptitude of any kind... I guess depending on where I woke up at in Eorzea I'd be lucky to be alive. Assuming my environs were immediately recognizable, I'd try to orient myself to move towards the nearest settlement.
At least if I didn't immediately succumb to Aether Sickness. Upon recovery from that, I'd shamble off towards the nearest settlement. My braincase is insisting that I wind up in southwestern region of Eastern Thanalan, closer to Southern Thanalan than Central. Generally, I'm slightly dehydrated from caffeine consumption, so it'd be a race against time to make it to Camp Drybone or at the very least the muddy pond between the areas I'm talking about.
If I wasn't mauled by wolves or by anything else, I'd seek to join the Immortal Flames, since I know military life.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
Move to Idyllshire. Try not to get eaten. Wait for all of this Garlemald nonsense to blow over.
Try and find my way back. I wouldn't want my friends and family to be worried by my sudden and inexplicable disappearance.
Assuming I fail at that though, head to the Goblet and wait outside my characters house. It'd be interesting to meet someone who is sort of but not really me. Hopefully they'd at least recognize me and help me get settled.

Personally not sure, depends on what city I would wake up in. Or if I now have cat ears and a tail or am just my 6' human self.
Cat would be refining my magic skills for practical uses and maybe dip my toes into adventuring. Human.... realize I'm likely very doomed and maybe find a shmuck job where I can just survive and get my shite in order enough to survive.
As my irl self without fancy plot armor and being just as average as now?...
I will see that more realistic.
I would join the alchemy guild and learn there for a while.
When I know the basics of the world, I would start to create plastics.
Then start creating machines to get it into mass production.
As side hobby I would try to become a blackmage.
Then try to harvest energy from fire and lightning magic.
It is also useful because with ice magic I can cool down any room in the hot summer heat.
Id contemplate why the fck did i have to spawn in the king behemoth fate.
Being real, likely level 1, in racial clothes, and with a sprout over my head, I'd clearly need gil fast. I think I'd carefully make my way to Limsa - hitching a ride on a level 80's dual seater - look in party finder, and sell some photos of my paws.
Soon a gillionaire, I would then make an offer for Costa Del Sol that Gegeruju couldn't refuse, and send him and all his catgirls back to Ul'dar. I think I'd still have some gil left to hire a kindle of catbois, to spend my life enjoying cocktails as various adventurers arrived to offer me bribes.
