If you put poop in your mouth, you know instantly it's disgusting. You don't need to eat a whole bowl to know.Made me laugh, so basically you are saying ... you never really did it but you want to judge it? Deep dungeon is basically Dungeon Savage, the players that ask for deep dungeon are not the ones asking for it to lv, they want it for the challenge ... AKA Potd 100-200 and HoH 30-100.
Players solo these for the thrill or party up to get expensive loot, rare glamour's.
Saying Bozja replaced the Deep dungeon is false, Bozja replaced Eureka which replaced Diadem. The cold truth is that Eureka and Deep dungeon were merged and while CE are fun, its always the same and players hardly struggle with them ... which is good and bad. SE scratched a possible endgame duty with a casual one.
Yes Bozja has nice moments and im enjoying it, but it can not replace the "deep dungeon and drinks" our small static had, nothing gets the blood going like steping on a mob spawner and seeing 3 chimeras pop.
And do not compare Castrum to BA, there is leagues between them. Castrum is BA light if anything, which is fine as its connected to story.
Did you laugh and think "gottem" while writing that? All i can say is with this reply you shattered all opposing thinkers, lets close the threat Deep dungeon is dead its poop.
In stormblood we got both a deep dungeon and Bozja like content (Eureka), so that s not really the issue here. We even got more Bozja like areas.
Yeah, and I spent hours of my evenings in college grinding boring health sponge field mobs in free Korean MMOs over and over and over again; the very description of Bozja sends shivers down my spine. Different strokes. What I can't believe is that people consider field mob and FATE grinding to be "innovative", when it's been among the most wretchedly boring staples of MMO design since their inception. Have fun back in 2004, Squeenix decided to fixate/double down on what I personally consider the worst aspects of XIV this expansion.
That was your choice to do that content, just as it was my choice to completely forgo all previous iterations of relic weapons. My point still stands: no one is forcing you to do this. Two recollection relics so far.
Got caster bozja gear, almost finished on aiming.
Got the bozja earrings.
Got the orchestrion rolls from multiple runs of castrum.
Already got everything but the hairstyle from bozja clusters.
Already halfway done to finishing 'No Need for Triage III' which requires rezzing 500 people.
Tell me how much I hate bozja again.
Ah yes.. The content. You mean the big thing that is meant to tie us over to 5.4. That said content, if skipped over, is just shooting myself in the foot as I look for stuff to do while ignoring the developer intended content for this patch cycle. That content.
And nobody forces anyone to try and get titles, achievements, glamours, mounts, minions, house furnishings, spend hours or days clicking a placard to get a house, or even leveling alternate jobs besides they first one they picked at character creation. But hey its content and people actively seek out to do that content. As part-and-parcel of an MMO is finding stuff to do in a world with lots of side activities.
Could you imagine from the time you created your character to the end of the current MSQ patch cycle that you touched no side content? That what you chose at character creation is a: Male Midlander with default customization, whose nameday is 1st Sun of the 1st Astral Moon, whose Guardian is Halone, class is Gladiator, on whatever world the game chose for you. The only thing you would have to choose is a name, whether you enter it yourself or it was a randomly generated named. Afterall, technically from the start of the game, nobody forces you to choose to customize your character in any meaningful way.
Remember what I said from the side content being optional? Glamours and dyes are technically optional in this game. So nobody forces you to customize the look of your character and you can just accept whatever the recommended gear button says will get you through to the next piece piece of MSQ content. So is joining a free company, or giving your character a title, or a personalized search message for a few examples.
I'm glad you agree.![]()
We're not forced to do this. 100% correct, which is why I'm not doing it, I read the ingredients and put it back on the metaphorical shelf. Misses the point of the thread OP, which is that other types of content are being cut (for one reason or another), so SE has to choose what to drop and what to keep. Glad some people enjoy grinding field mobs and FATEs for god knows what reason when that exact compost heap is widely reviled when named Yokai Watch. I deserve content I enjoy too, and all of the Shadowbringers' side content outside Savage has been enormous new locations where you sit around and do one or two things with no variation over and over again.
You can have snoozy Korean grindfests with no complaint from me when its design principles don't take over the expansion and edge out content that's actually fun.
All I heard was that you're complaining about not being catered to this time, and you're raging because of it. Not everybody is going to be catered to all the time. I'm still waiting for some actual updates to Hrothgar, but you don't see me raging about it despite it being over a year since the race was released. We're not forced to do this. 100% correct, which is why I'm not doing it, I read the ingredients and put it back on the metaphorical shelf.
