people who leave "fate" early, be considerate a little pelase?

we know them, i know them, when the FATE progress reach 70-80% they just pack it up and leave to the next FATE.

i understand. i do that too sometimes, but please... please give some consideration when you leave.

I've seen a lot of times people leave when the FATE is still at 40-50%, help out a little bit will ya? especially if there is not many player doing it. its fine if you and 2-3 people leaving early, but sometimes other will follow. iam fine if you al leave when the fate is already at 80-90% progress, but 40-60%?

i got so many case on that new resistance weapon quest and mostly on boss type FATE, people just leave when the boss is still at 50%, sometimes almost everyone leave to the point there is only 3-4 people doing it, the boss fate, at 50% HP left.

i mean yes we probably could kill it but cmon... be considerate a little bit please?

I leave early on Fates all the time because folks tend to spread out and do multiple FATEs at a time so I try to hit as many as I can so I can get rewards faster.
I'm sorry if it bugs you. It bugs me that folks split up (intentionally or not), forcing me to break off from the pack so I can not miss out on the benefits...

Everyone should follow your example. That way the Fate never complete and no one gets anything.

Only one I leave early is the fates were you collect turn in items. I leave after its done but still have the extra time for turn ins.

Again, if everyone does that a fate is not going to get complete. Particular if is a Boss fate. You are free to do whatever, but in reality, anyone doing that is abusing the good faith of others.

Anyway, this is not going to change. Players benefiting from other efforts is an FFXIV staple at this point.

So you only come back is they all leave. How often does that happen? Lets me honest you go and let other finish the job. How about you actually contribute to the entire fate like others do.

Oddly enough they did just that in Hydatos with Ovni after people were leaving early. Anyone not in the fate circle when the fate ended did not get the portal buff which could also be done with experience/drops.

One moment this community is complaining that they can't reach fates in time when other players obliterate them with BLU or with sheer numbers, but if you pull back and give them time until the last minute, that's... uhh selfish... or something. Can't win! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lets call a spade a spade. You're leeching off the work of others so you can be sure to get credit in multiple fates. You can be sure if half the group at a fate does that those left behind to finish the fate will miss the one you are so politely running too.

Can't stop that behavior but one can also recognize it for what it is.
