I mostly think Bozja is a big improvement over Eureka.

But the one thing I really miss is being able to just buy potions. Is there any chance we could get this back?

Yes, I know which fates and mobs drop them, but they're hard to come by even when you're trying to farm for them.

The best way to amass potions and Phoenix Down is to wait until there's thunder and reflect farm the lightning sprites on the eastern side of the lower level.

They're guaranteed to drop as many as five fragments of preparation per kill, and with nine spawning per wave, you can feasibly max out your potion stock within a single weather window.

Though I agree it would be better to just be able to buy them from a vendor.

The potions being for sale, wasn't that added in a latter patch? One of the ways to make it easier before it got the echo?

It may not have been available at Anemos launch, but it was added in before Hydatos was out at the very least. I remember the potions being a thing while trying to get through Pagos before Pyros or Hydatos was out, one of the two.

Yes, I know which fates and mobs drop them, but they're hard to come by even when you're trying to farm for them.

You might just wanna have a lost Cure on your hotbar. They are easy to get (Fragments of Caution can be bought with clusters at the main camp), they don't have a carry weight once on your special hot bar unlike potions, and they are oGCDs so you don't even have to waste any GCDs to use them in combat.

This did work pretty well. Thanks for the tip. Still, took me the better part of a weak for a weather window to align with my playing, so it'd be nice if SE made then vendor buyable all the same.

Well, you can buy the lost fragments on the market board. Not sure about prices on your server, but on mine the fragments related to these were going for like 1200 gil per fragment, and personally, I was able to buy like 200 easy, and haven't been hurting for potions since.

I farmed up about 300 so I can't foresee myself coming even close to running out before I'm done with bozja now.
