    Holding it over one shoulder is no more unrealistic that using a giant spike-covered slab of metal posing as a sword in the first place. And let's not even get into the magic side of the job. Or some of the grips on these things, which should grind our hands off trying to wield them....

    Realism was never a factor with weapon design in this game, so why let it interfere with fun?

    I never said it interfered with fun, just that the sword over shoulder looked really silly & unrealistic. Sure, it's a fantasy game with magic & such but it doesn't mean I have to like the animations which I was being clear about- I also was agreeing with OP. It there wouldn't be a loser & only winners if all poses were unlocked.
