Dancer Blunder

I started working on the dancer and I have screwed myself pretty bad :/ Starting at Lvl 60 with a bunch of skills I have never used before made me go and delete all the moves from my crossbar (I'm on PS4), so I could assign them where I wanted them. Now I can't use any of the dance steps because it tells me I can't assign them to a hotbar... What am I suppose to do? D: Any insight on this would be great.

The dance moves simply replace your 1, 2, 3 and 4 single target combo actions when you activate standard step and technical step. No need to add them separately to your hotbar.

They replace Cascade, Fountain, Reverse Cascade, and Fountain Fall.

I play on PS4 as well and have had a lot of success with:

Cascade on O
Fountain on X
Reverse Cascade on Triangle
Fountain Fall on Square

Any time an action says

※ This action cannot be assigned to a hotbar.

what it means is

※ Under specific circumstances, this action replaces some other action that has already been placed on your bar.

And, not relevant to DNC but still confuses new people, so good to know: if you put an action on your bar but it immediately disappears and is replaced with something else, that means

This action is a permanent upgrade to a lower level action. If you sync below the level that you learn this action, it will automatically revert to the lower level action so that you don't have to take up extra space on your bar for two or more actions that do the same thing. Only the highest available version of this action will be on your hotbar.
