Is this the correct amount of Memories you need to upgrade ALL Resistance Weapons?

I plan on getting all Resistance Weapons and I want to make sure my math is correct about how many I need to complete every single one of them.

17 classes in total, right?

So I need 340 Memories in total for one type of Memory.

And from there it requires a total of 1020 Memories of all 3 types collected for all 17 weapons.

After that is the glowing effect. As you need 6, which is thankfully simple and short to gather, it requires 102 Bitter Memories for every single weapon.

If my math is right.

That said, what is the best course to grind out all of the Memories in the most effective fashion? Almost done with my first tone, but I'm going to do it on and off to prevent myself from burning out on the grind.

If you levelled up in bozja quite a bit (maybe to rank 10?) you could just bomb non experience giving field mobs in groups in each of the areas. If you have a dedicated party, it could be a much faster way that grinding fates in hw. If you dont have access to all the areas, and have no intention to...i like western coerthas over sea of clouds, the dravanian forelands over the churning mist and definitely the hinterlands over azys lla (to much flying, FATEs too spread apart usually) if youre okay with efficiency, you can have one weapon at the memory stage, and can use any job to farm any amount of them. So possibly get 1 relic to the third step(cosmetic) then start a second relic to the memory phase, and use the FATEs to level up jobs under like 63 or so? Ive done 2 relics the hw way, and am just collecting memories in bozja. only rank 9 and so far have gotten like 60ish yellow ones, 6 blue ones, and 1 red one, from mainly trying to get to rank(barely any cluster/lost fragment farming) however i am certain i could get a ton more if i were specifically going for clusters/memories
keep in mind, however that if you want to level jobs from 71 or up, it might be better to just use bozja, if your jobs are under 71, probably could get a little bit of help in the hw zones. Oh pne more thing, for the memories like i said, you can just use BLU, any job doing the fates will net memories if you have the quest active.

And all my classes are capped.

That said, are the drops rates for the Memories super low in Bojza? Compared to the 100% drop rates of the HW FATEs? It seems faster and more effective to me, but I'll try Bojza when I rank up so more.

yes and no. like if youre doing actual levelling for resistance rank, then yes it is super slow and inefficient like i stated my rediculous collection of yellows and barely blues or reds because i hadnt done much in the higher areas in bozja. But killing some normal mobs have a chance of dropping them. If you had a dedicated way to grab aggro tons of them and a couple party members to burn them down, you can get drops probably alot faster than the guaranteed rate of fates, since its one per fate, not a chance per trash mob kill. I really wish someone who knew more about cluster farming/etc could drop in and give you a more educated answer about this, im still learning about mobs that do or dont drop them myself. Not sure if the chance for memories applies to just any mob out there, or specifics like clusters(i could be totally wrong about specifics giving clusters even)

I also just realized that you may have to farm regular trash mobs in the higher end areas to get the blues and reds. But after your rank is to where you can access the areas with mobs that drop them i think it just may be a bit faster to do trash mob farming for them, maybe much much faster. Looks like you just have to decide if you're dedicated enough to get to rank 10 which, is quite doable in a day or two of moderate skirmish farming in bozja from rank 7. It will be a slightly painful grind to get there getting very few memories, but I think the grind may be well worth it in the end once you're able to get access to all the different memories
