No Haurchefant and Ysayle?

I very much look forward to this event where we can transform into npcs! However, last year, they did not include Haurchefant nor Ysayle, and this year they did not include them again! Why is that?

I don't know to be honest, would be nice.

That being said, if I recall right, there will be no Halloween Event this year, unfortunately.

It would have been a nicer thing than the Make it Rain event, but that's just my opinion.

There isn't but you can visit the Halloween Mansion in the Gold Saucer via the Genial Guiser NPC.

but they don't seem to let you be anyone who is dead.

Not really, considering some NPCs you can turn into.

Those being:

Didn't notice 2 of those

and one I wasn't thinking of them as dead since they just keep showing up. Another one of those still walks around from time to time.

That's because he's pretty much a meme at this point (ESPECIALLY in Japan).
And the devs are very aware of it, so it was only natural they'd include him.

I'd like the ability to temporarily transform into Regula, Varis and Emet-Selch.

It seems to be restricted to characters with standard character models for emoting purposes (standard Garleans like Nero are based on the elezen model, and Hilda is a midlander with a custom head), so anyone with a completely unique model is probably out of the question.
