Angry at lack of Rainmaker Hairstyle

After a bitter and soul crushing real life divorce, I took a break from FFXIV for about 2 years. It was a game we shared and after the split, I just could not bring myself to play.

But about a year and a half ago, I came back. I moved servers, changed my character's name, and started fresh in a new FC.

After my return, I stumbled across M'naago in Rhalgr's Reach and IMMEDIATELY fell in love with her hairstyle. It's exactly what I wanted for my NIN and after searching about it I was both pleased and dismayed to discovered that it was only available during the Rainmaker event which I had missed due to my absence from the game.

What I also discovered were other players that really liked the hairstyle too. We were told to wait for the next Rainmaker event. I did, and it wasn't present. we were told to look on the Mogstation after a year. I did and it wasn't present. I was event informed it could be found on the Market Board... And yeah, you guessed it.. I looked and it wasn't there either.

So how hard is it for the devs at SE to check a box, click an icon, and type in a line of code to re-enable the hairstyle to make it available again? Are they going to have to take down the servers? Are we going to have to re-install the game client? Was the hairstyle licensed from somewhere else and the license expired.

Seriously. HOW. HARD IS. IT? Put the damn hairstyle for sale in the Golden Saucer again, We'll grind MGP for it. Put it up on the Mogstation/Final Fantasy XIV store and I'll spend money for it. Money. Real money.

Over THREE YEARS is a long time to make players wait for something that would take SE what, a few minutes to enable in the game? WE WANT THE RAINMAKER HAIRSTYLE. Why is this like pulling teeth, SE? You can't even blame it on COVID-19 due to the fact that it wasn't a pandemic for 2 of the three years that the hairstyle has been missing.

Not that I expect any of the SE devs to actually see this post. I mean, if they do, they'll just ignore it.

I've been waiting for years for them to make old Feast rewards available again.. EVEN if they're somehow different from the original releases, I don't even care. I just think they look awesome and want to work toward them.

Or you know, really, ANYTHING to help breathe some life back into Feast. We had GARO and teams but they died out after fan fest. It's not like the PVP forum isn't chock full of some really good ideas.

But no, Doman Mah Jong updates must be made in the Gold Saucer.

Same here. I was literally just saying how I'd like to see some of the Feast exclusive sets be brought back somehow. The Lonewolf, Barghest and Hellhound sets were extremely cool looking and you hardly ever see anyone with them. A lot of people don't even know they exist.
