Yeah, it does seem rather shady to withhold it without even giving the excuse that they wanted it to be one of a kind, especially cosnidering the only items to have that privilege were 1.0 items and extra-company collaborations (even then one of which happens on a frequent enought basis to consider discounting)
It genuinely doesn’t make sense. I can understand why the Cloud Strife hairstyle was limited (art reward or something) and the meteor survivor stuff, like Wind-Up Dalamud. I’d love to have it but that’s fine given context. This is not a limited item. There’s no rhyme or reason to it— its like they decided to do this at random. Which is infuriating cause I was waiting for this event close to when I started the game.
