I'm bumping this to ask about this "beast of burden" that Lalafells apprenlty used as literal mobile homes (and apparently predates the Adamantoise species arrivingin Eorzea by a few centuries).

The implication seems to be that Sabik here is akin to the Lucavi auracites....

And considering that the Dark God was named for one of said Lucavi....

I'm betting Sabik was the other name for Ultima. Ultima IS the only Lucavi without a 2nd name after all.

Would be thematically...off-kilter as The Lucavi have an association with a Zodiac sign and Ultima's specifically is Virgo. While Sabik is closer to Serpens and Ophichus, both of which relate to Zodiark.

I do think the two are related, but I also think the Heart of Sabik is Zodiark's Auracite, or rather an auracite that summons a facsimile of it.
