I don't find it that difficult. You have your 3 button combo bread and butter, Hypercharge which unlocks two actions, one single target blast and one AOE blast. you have a heat gauge that is for Hypercharge usage and a battery gauge for you auto turret. Deploy your auto turret when your battery gauge is at 100% for maximum uptime. It auto attacks so no need to bother with it while its out. Plus at level 80 it turns into a bad ass robot! You have an action called Reassemble which makes your next action a direct crit. Use it with Drill or Air Anchor for massive damage! Your AOE action Split Shot has the most aggravating sound effect in the game but it does pretty good damage.
The only thing that's even remotely difficult (and its not really) is your Hypercharge window. You want to have enough skill speed to get 5 uses of Heat Blast or Auto Crossbow before it expires. I also weave ricochets or Gauss Rounds in between heatblasts.or Auto Crossbow because they have multiple uses (3 in total i believe) and are instant. It's got some awesome animations and the best level 80 armor set int he game to me! It looks bad ass, especially on my Bun Bun.

Heat Blast and Auto Crossbow have 1.5s GCDs by default, they can't go any lower and Skill Speed doesn't do anything for them. The only thing stopping a player from getting five uses under Hypercharge is ping or they're trying to double weave. The only thing that's even remotely difficult (and its not really) is your Hypercharge window. Agreed the most difficult thing about MCH is remembering to use Drill every 20 seconds not being OGCD and flowing as unnaturally with ur 1-2-3 as a fatal case of constipation

Where is the ambition?
My sincerest apologizes. you are right of course. I knew it was a speed issue nut it's been so long since I read the Balance on MCH I forgot it was bad ping and not SS.
Thanks you very much
MCH is only difficult if you have high ping.
Otherwise it's one of the easiest and most intuitive jobs right now.

Out of the jobs it is the easiest job in the game, at 50 its essentially complete with hollow upgrades (Broil- Broil II) and aoes
DNC can be very boring early on and MCH is more fun...then DNC eclipses it once it reaches 70+ and MCh never really evolves past its peak in 50 besides like 1 skill, BRD is by default the hardest job because of the sheer amount of things to focus on to compensate with ur free range, DoTs, Song procs, BL Porc, SW, and your effectiveness vanishing once u forget ur dots once as ur procs go away and is typically somthing u want to avoid, DNC and MCH have no fear factor like BRD DNC does but its large windows of error make it borderline impossible to fail at it and MCH isnt complex enough to have one unless your are trying to be bad.
Not to Simp BRD those long descriptions of songs are daunting, and the job feels flat at 50 before Minuet and Emerperyl Proc trait (which has no reason to be a trait in the 60s rather than the get go) Armys Peon feels hollow until late in the game and the support is one note no pun intended, Minne is fine if abit long on CD and Wardens Peaen is a esuna shield which is heavily situational as few late game instances have aliments and even fewer of them have detrimental ones like Burns Frostbite.
But I suggest looking online many love and hate the ranged jobs and youll never know until you try
