Don't really want to do the same trick or treat Halloweens event again and again. Feels like there is a war on Columbus Day even in Japan now. Also, if we celebrate Lunar New Year which is a Japanese/Korean/Chinese holiday, why can't we celebrate July 4th?
Figure it was you. Want the serious answer, Japanese company could care less about a hated American Holiday.

Columbus day AKA the guy who got lost looking for the Indian Subcontinent because he was bad with math, and never listened to Swedish Sailors about the Land halfway between Asia and Europe. So when he gets to the Caribbean after nearly getting his crew killed by his incompetence. He then proceeds to murder, rape, and steal from the Natives. Because of him the Taíno are virtually wiped out, there is a little bit of Taíno DNA in Cuba and Puerto Rico, but they are functionally dead as a people thanks to the direct actions of Columbus.
