    Fixing Fishing

I've noticed a bunch of issues with Fishing that needs fixed. Here's my list of stuff that needs done to make it so much better.

1 - Gathering % of getting fish needs added to the Fishing Log. The other 2 gathering jobs has the % when you go to gather an item but fishing doesn't. The issue I have is I have lvl 80 gathering gear but the big fish I'm trying to gather seem to always "fish got away" which is total crap. I want to see the chance I have reeling in the fish.

2 - Fishing time needs changed. The fastest I've caught a fish was like 12 seconds after I cast my line for a "small tug"(One !). Fastest I've caught with "medium" tug(two !!) was around 17-18 seconds. Then you have to add in the animation to reel the fish in which is like 5-6 seconds for small tug and like 10 seconds for medium tug. This is way too long. The time from cast to "something caught the line" needs reduced. Small tug needs to be 7-8 seconds, medium tug needs to be 9-10 seconds.

3 - Patience and Patience 2 needs changed as well because the start to finish of casting line and reeling the fish in takes between 20 and 30 seconds. Patience lasts for 60 seconds so you only get 2-3 casts and catches in that time for 200 GP. The GP cost is fine but making the casting and catching times faster will give you 1-2 more casts during this effect. I'd actually like to see a passive ability that doubles the time for Patience and Patience 2(2 mins and 4 mins respectively). Make it a lvl 80 trait. I'd also change the GP cost of Patience 2 down to 500 GP. I would also give another trait that has a small chance of negating the debuff for Patience and Patience 2 so we don't need to use GP when reeling fish in.

4 - Fishing off hand - We need new ones. Having the same one since spearfishing was added is an epic fail on so many levels.

5 - Catching Big fish...is a waste of time for some fish. Warden of the 7 hues is the main 1. It's extremely hard to catch even with lvl 80 gear and is why I want to see the % chance to catch fish. I've had so many big tugs(three !!!) result in "your fish got away" messages it's not even funny. Some of the fish needed to trigger the buff to catch this fish says there's no special condition but there is. The weather pattern needs to change a specific way in order to catch the fish needed for the trigger. I've also gone back to catching big fish from like version 2.5 and I'll still get the "your fish got away" but I should have 100% chance to catch those fish because of my gathering and perception values.

There is always a hard cap on big fishing. you could have the best gear available to you and it can still get away. This is by design.

People complain about the gig because they just don't like seeing anything bringing down their ilvl when the rest of their gear is the best kind.

Patience is the way it is because they want you to either use up your own time to wait for GP regen or use cordials.

Even with the changes they made to fishing in this latest patch it's still more of a side thing to do more than anything. if you make it too easy to do then there's no point to doing it.

Make it actually worth a damn. It's obnoxious that 99.99% of fish are utterly useless. 99.9999999999% of all desynths are borderline useless fine sand.

Also bring back the FFXI/FFXV style tugging stamina mechanics and more communication through vibration in the controller.
