The random hidden timer was brought in because of house flippers. It sucks I know but removing that means that headache all over again

It's not an obsession. I just really want a house and i hate to sit and not have fun and with chances that are so low, it might as well be a waste of time. But i hate it more that it force us to sit for hours just for this. You say that SE don't force us but you have no choice to do it if you want one.Your obsession with getting a house in a game is a good indication of how unhealthy you already are.
No one is forced to stand for 24 hours camping a placard.
First, I doubt anyone is actually standing. They're going to be sitting in a chair in front of their PC or console watching Netlix or something else on another monitor or TV. Most are intelligent enough to take breaks to eat, go to the bathroom, etc. even if you aren't.
Second, the timer usually expires well before 24 hours has passed since the plot was relinquished/demolished.
Third, you are not chained to that spot. You're free to leave and do other things then go back later to check to see if it's still available then try your luck again for a few more minutes before going off to do something else again. It is your choice to stay instead of leave. Luck can be on your side with the timer just about to end after you come back as much as it can be against you and you lose a house you were camping for 15 hours for someone who walked up 10 minutes earlier (and who now owns a house even though they didn't camp like you did).
It is your obsession tying you down. Learn to break free of it and engage in behaviors that are healthy. You are your own worst enemy and that is why you are unhealthy.
People agree it's a poor system. It's not an unfair one or an unhealthy one unlike what you want to claim in your obsession.
Now that you no longer want a house, don't you feel better? You've freed yourself of an unhealthy obsessions that you imposed on yourself.
We already have instanced housing that players like you ignore. It's called apartments. You can do quite a bit with them if you give them an honest try. Maybe get one and see for yourself?
And no, i would feel much better and happy with a house that i worked for with gils and put my time. Please, be respectful calling me with an obsession and it is my fault. I'm not the one who put this system. I can step back but i'm not gonna shut my mouth too. I have other games to play as well.
I have a apartment already but it is small and limited, no exterior and no gardening.( my fc uses gardening already and i'd like more to grow at my place). Not sure why you talk to me like this. I'm not gonna sue SE but it shouldn't be allowed.
I disagree with you. Standing, sitting, you know what i meant and saying intelligent people? I have only one tv, calm down. Taking breaks is what will make you lose it because it can open anytime while you are away. This system will make people not want to leave because the chances drop a lot and people can relocate anytime. Even if you say it is the player's choice, the system will punish you for not trying for hours.Your obsession with getting a house in a game is a good indication of how unhealthy you already are.

An obsession? I play other games and do lots of other stuff in ffxiv, but i waited years to get one and still can't. Unhealthy like i said is a system forcing you to not take breaks or you won't get a house with a crowd. It is unfair and unhealthy and i don't understand you at all for saying it is not.
I feel not different, i always play other games when i get tired and i did and everything's fine. But i won't shut up and ignore this unfair housing system, no matter what people say.
I have an apartment already.
Maybe i was angry but this post is not very respectful to me saying it is my fault and not being intelligent.
I respect those who accept responsibility for their personal choices. You want to blame others for your personal choice. Why should I respect you in that case?
The system is neither unhealthy nor unfair in itself. It's the methods some players voluntarily choose to resort to in their obsession to own the plot that are unhealthy (camping) or unfair (using a bot or automated script).
Other players have been intelligent. They check, maybe hang around a few minutes then go do other things before checking again later. Many of those players have managed to get houses. How do we know? Because the players engaging in the obsessive placard camping come here or go to reddit or wherever to rage about how they had camped for hours and someone else who was only there for a few minutes managed to buy the plot (not even a relocation but a new purchase).
The system absolutely is a poor one in general but that's due to the lack of supply compared to the demand, not the timers. If SE fixed the supply issue, we wouldn't be having these discussions.

I only blame SE and the housing system too, you make no sense, calm down.. Such weird forum community...I respect those who accept responsibility for their personal choices. You want to blame others for your personal choice. Why should I respect you in that case?

I can say the same for all of you in the forums. Lol i asked this post to be deleted. You all continue to insult with i'm stupid for just having an opinion. It's really pathetic... I'm ashamed to talk to people like this.
Just bye. Go post somewhere else. I'm done here. Let this thread die and move on.

You post a thread on impulse cause you missed housing rush
you spam your own post
people agree with you that the system sucks, but they give you logical answers as to why removing the timer is not the solution
you proceed to just assume we all love the system, and say that you cannot believe we don't see that the system is bad
.... but we're the weird ones
hmmmm .... I like this logic
