Oh please don't play the "I'm a victim, no one cares about me" card. It doesn't gain you any sympathy.

Most of us do care (have no problem admitting that a few probably don't because people are people). Not agreeing with you doesn't mean we don't care. It means we have a different opinion about what should be done. Most of us are tired of the new band-aids that get dreamed up that only create a new set of problems without fixing the real problem - lack of supply. We want to see the real problem fixed.

You've not been reading a lot of posts if you truly think no one here cares about how awful the housing system is. Just because some people disagree with how the system should be improved does not mean they don't care.

I saw some solutions like instanced housing, reduce timer but nothing is being done and i am simply showing SE how their players hate this timer because they need to know. I've seen post saying everything is fine and it's not. Why players have to have a lack of sleep, take days off and risk their health for simply a house. Before anyone says that it's your own chose to do it, and housing is meant to be limited, it's wrong. We shouldn't have to do it at all anyway. It's not the players fault but the ones who put it in place. We pay for a video game to be able to get stuff we worked for but this timer is a slap in the face.

The timer is intends to stop this like I said earlier.
You wont even see an empty plot.
Even if you are talking about the time when plot release, unless your login que is not like 600 or lower, the chance is you still not going to see any plot left if there is no timer.

I'm on one of the lowest population NA worlds. On the 13th, I tried logging in one minute after the servers came up. I was 987th in queue. I waited 14 minutes to get into the game. One of the other members of my FC tried logging in two minutes after I did. They were over 1300 in queue and had to wait 25 minutes to get in.

It's pointless (and ignorant) to tell a NA player they should have picked a lower population server when the lowest population servers in NA are also getting those queues and don't have available houses anymore than the server they are currently playing on. We don't control the number of servers available to us - SE does.

I'd bet money that if even you doubled the wards, you wouldn't put a dent in the housing problem because I suspect that a lot of the NA servers growth is from FFXIV absorbing WoW's population since Blizzard keeps doing dumb stuff, which is only going to make this problem worse in the short term. I'd like to think we're not going to have the long term retention issues because WoW:Retail is such an inferior game to both FFXIV and WoW:Classic.

It's honestly hard to say what the effect would be. Some worlds it could solve the problem but I doubt it would solve it on all worlds.

But it would only be a temporary solution unless the player base stopped growing. The 4.2 wards seemed to be a solution at first. There were multiple NA worlds with hundreds of houses available for most of 2018. Then the player base started rapidly growing in 2019 and all those houses disappeared even before the data center reorganization could happen.
