Bozja is so awesome! some many cool fights to be had and the critical engagements are something else, some of those fights are just plain crazy! This is so much better than eureka, hope to see more of this stuff in the future.

I'm debating whether or not to start the bozja stuff for my weapons or finish my WHM leveling... I figure if I finish my whm it'll give Bozja enough time to calm down a bit and not be such a congested rush, but I REALLY want to start upgrading my weapons!
You can level up from 71 to 80 in Bozja, like you would in a potd or hoh.

I have not been able to get on yet today but I am curious about Bozja before I begin tonight. Is it just kind of a Eureka FATE farm where you run with the train and hope to get in an engagement or is it just party up and hope for a FATE? Also if I haven't started by now am I going to be way behind most people in the instance or can new players join pretty easy?
The fates happen constantly and there are enough of them. Not like Eureka where the fate spawn is determined by killing X amount of a particular enemy. Grouping up with different level people does not affrect drop rates. Higher level people can help you and be in party with you.

Higher level players still do most of the Critical Engagements, and higher level people don't impact you unlike Eureka, so you should be fine. There are definitely more people like you who won't be able to play until "primetime" tonight.I have not been able to get on yet today but I am curious about Bozja before I begin tonight. What worries me about the critical engagements is the more players that are active and involved means the lower my chance of actually getting in to them, so I will probably go in with the expectation of not being able to do any.

There are only 72 ppl per instance and 48 per crit engagement, as long as you are doing the standard fates you should get into them fine. I would say I have gotten into about 99% of them, even one when I first entered and hadn't done a thing yet.

Nah, I think there's something there that if at least one of your party members has priority, your entire party will go in. I remember doing one with one other person while the others were back at camp progressing the quests and we were able to get into it. Seems like for every one I wasn't to get into, I was able to get into the next several.
If you stick to a party and contribute well, the party lead can sign up to participate in it and it has to accept the entire party. So doing it solo would be tough to participate but even so, they are a big deal boss and requires full parties to fight.
