The reason people leave is because once an instance locks and stops accepting new players Castrum will no longer pop even if there are several people with timers that are long enough to clear it.

It makes more sense to try to find a "fresh" instance then to wait around in one where Castrum has already happened and it might end up locking before it even pops again.

I wasted about four hours yesterday trying to get into Castrum but to no avail because of this awkward design decision.
