Bozja Critique: Almost there, but not quite

yeah got the relic step complete a bit ago, and talking with the people outside bozja one said it was like 12 memories for a couple hours inside. Most efficient is doing FATE's in the HW areas, where as far as i know its guaranteed drop for gold(only time i got worse score was a failed fate, from say trying to solo one that was 4 minutes or less left on the timer) so yeah.... if youre strictly going for the relic it is extremely more efficient to just do 10 fates in each of the hw areas or 20 fates in each pair of hw areas(coerthas/sea of clouds for 1, dravanian forelands/churning mists for 1 and Azyss lla/Dravanian Hinterlands for the third memory type) Part 2 is 6 items from level 60 dungeons synced. can get 1 per daily levelling roullette(not sure if have to be on same job or not)

you don't have to. Neither for the fates or the dungeons. GC squadron works too btw

Eureka was awkward but at least the areas were kinda pretty. Now with Bozja the encounters are somehow better (even though there were some cool fights in hydatos and pyros) but the area is really ugly compared to eureka (it may even be the ugliest area in the whole game), and all the systems that made Eureka special aren't in Bozja. I mean I don't even know why we have resistance ranks as monster in the level 8+ area of Bozja are level III or IV.

I always thought you should have to do the relic content to get a relic. I was rather disappointed when they announced engaging with it would be optional this time, and I'm very disappointed to find out it's the more efficient route.

#4 The drop rate on the Tortured / Sorrowful / Harrowing is WAY too low.

It's 100% in the overworld. I did multiple FATES in Bozja with no drop. Outside of Bozja, it's 4 hours start to finish for a relic. Not exactly bad. Mindless, but manageable.

They are a 100% drop in critical engagements, once you unlock the quest, or at least it seems, I have never not gotten one from a CE. You need 20 from each of the 3 "zones" in bozja and in 2 hours I was able to get 10 while I got rank. Outside of that I see the rest as farming for other items like mounts, minions and the the other various glam items.

If you are really impatient and have no other need for the other items, feel free to farm the HW zones, that is why they added that option. The fact that it hasn't even been 24 hours since release and ppl are complaining here and in shouts in Gangos about how its taking too long to get the new relic is kinda sad and speaks volumes for the way this game hands out prizes.

I don't really think at least some of the issue is the content...

From what I have seen around the complaint isn't so much that you can get the relic outside of the zone, but that it is so much easier and efficient to get it outside of the zone.

Complain it's that you can't get the relic as fast inside Bozja. However, there is that chance that people have not figured it out how to properly farm the items there. I remember Yoshida mentioning that enemies are a better source of drops compared to fates.

The fact that we don't have to grind in Bozja for the relic is amazing. I'm still doing it for the story but I'd rather just farm regular fates with my chocobo and a flying mount.
