I like many others this morning tried to purchase a home on a game that I have enjoyed since 1.0 Beta. Instantly I was defeated when the game crashed as soon as I hit "Play". I was then placed in a queue of 1300 instantly killing any hope I had for purchasing an FC house. At first I was mad and why shouldn't I be, content I want to enjoy is locked out to me over and over again due to not being lucky enough to get in before the masses. Now I'm just sitting here thinking what can they do to fix this for everyone like me, what can they do to make this content more appealing to keep wards active with players.

Player Housing
-Instanced (People can visit just like how we visit others FC estates unless the user locks it from visiting)
-Choose a locale of your choosing
-Be able to purchase Small, Medium or Large
-Homes can be upgraded from small to medium to large for gil.

FC Housing
-Keep wards but make it so that all plots can be small, medium or large.
-Create a system where for FCs that can only afford a small can upgrade to medium and then large by either some form of crafting/gathering donations like the Firmament or donating gil/purchasing the next stage.
-Create events that happen in wards to keep them active

Apartments
-Add a balcony for smaller outdoor furnishings and maybe have 2 sizes of apartments (Small & Medium)

I'm sure others have similar ideas or could add to what I have here. In the end I really hope that SE does something to make housing available to all those who want to enjoy it and give FC housing more purpose.

You should compare that to what they will do.

They are perfectly happy to separate their playerbase into two classes: Those who have houses, and those who do not. The price of getting a house is weeks or months of 24hr+ days. The system is literally designed to prevent you from participating.

They will never fix this. It's not a bug, it's literally a feature.
