Don't fix housing; Fix your Launcher

After seeing the last medium plot vanish before my eyes for a difference of mere seconds I have to stop and reflect on the fact that this happened because the launcher froze at "Checking Final Fantasy" and prevented me from either continuing into the queue as what would have been one of the first people there, or closing the damn program to even attempt to refresh it.

So for all the abundant complaints about how broken the housing system is (and it is), here's another point of interest for SE: Even for the people it would have worked for, your software breaking makes it inoperable.

I wouldn't complain if they did but at least one of these things is an impediment outside of the (already busted enough) system itself. I'm not about to call it a fair competition, however, in a matter of degrees losing your shot at getting your FC a medium plot because of a mechanical error on the game's part is somehow even worse than the normal process.

Fix your housing system and THEN fix your launcher!
If you fix the garbage housing system there is no need to fix the broken launcher.
