The developers have designed the most unhealthy housing system that has ever existed in games. What other game expects you to mash "Purchase" against an invisible timer for 24+ hours straight?

It's insane to think that this is acceptable. They're literally not even trying to resolve the issue. All they did was fling a few dozen more plots at the THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS who would just like to experience a massive part of the game's content.

It's normal that it was especially rough this time around. I don't know why people didn't see this coming. We've been due a full city state housing (ishgard) for a while to catch up with the demand and even when that releases things will go fast. + We haven't had any housing timers at a time where many people are going to pickup gaming. So imagine all those players going for a few measly wards. Anyone who was aiming for a plot outside of the goblet was probably not in the right mindset from the getgo. And yeah connection issues are a pain, you win some you lose some. Hopefully the current open plots don't have as much competition as on usual days.

I really wanted to grab a medium plot for my FC only to sit in a 15 min queue as servers came online. When I finally made it on, almost every ward was full with very few small plots available. I was so frustrated that I hopped on to my main in hopes of grabbing a small plot just for it to be on the relocation timer. Then I sat my controller down for exactly two minutes as I was the only one there, and someone randomly appeared and all at the same time, snagged the plot and put a house on it. All of this within a two minute time span of me click spamming the plaque.
