It is a testament to how terrible SE is at paying attention to hot button issues. Is housing critical to game play? To some yes. Same for pvp. They just keep retooling potencies here and there instead of dealing with the main complaints. I think both systems need mighty overhauls to be where they need to be.
Back on the subject of housing tho what would be the best Avenue for them to go? Keep trying to add more wards till till the magic number is met? Increase functionality of apartments like a tenant system and various sized apts? If they don't want to make an apartment upgradeable but rather just have them be purchased straight up at whatever size they end up being should they cost less than standard ward size housing? There are a lot of ideas shot down constantly, like some segment of the population here thinks ANY change to the current system should be met with fire and pitchforks and you're a fool if you disagree and another large portion has been here since the fabled 2.whatever times when housing was introduced and assumes everyone should be intimately familiar with every theory / suggestion / counter argument since that time till now. Very little in the way of honest and agreed upon suggestions.. can we really blame SE for not doing something other than tossing a few wards out every 1.5 years or so?
