Hrothgar/Viera players: Would you be interested in paid hair styles or hair packs?

To the Viera and Hrothgar out there, I know its not ideal but if SE offered, would you be interested in extra new hairstyles (or Hrothgar face types) for sale on the mogstation?

I ask because I'm curious if SE would ever give us new Viera/Hrothgar hairstyles if we offered to pay extra for them? I'm desperate okay... Just give me this lol

I'm desperate for hairstyles too for those races.
I'm desperate for new hairstyles for the rest of the races also because I'm afraid it will just be more lackluster short hairstyles- rather than options that look great & already exist- Such as Hilda & Lyse's ponytails.
I'm worried SE will pretend they never said anything about giving Viera or Hrothgar any updates or something much worse... giving them spikey, anime style short hairstyles.

Absolutely not. It's bad enough that poor Hrothgar players have to shell out $10 to change their hair as it is. I understand that Hrothgar are a unique case due to their head shapes but I see little reason why Viera can't have access to all the hairstyles like other races when they're so similar to the likes of Miqo'te and Au Ra.

Viera and Hrothgar are hardly finished races. They don't have their opposite genders, they can't wear hats. Charging extra for hairstyles would be a really scummy move on SE's part.

Totally understandable and I agree with you.
To be quite honest, I actually wish they'd release a QoL character creation update that would bring out all existing hairstyles for all races. (Hrothgar being maybe the exception to the rule since it doesnt use "traditional" hairstyles).
Although Im fairly certain this would be met with "we cant do this because 'server limitations'" or some such, but that just makes me want it more because Ive always found that answer to be kind of lame given that "we cant make your inventory bigger" somehow led to chocobo saddlebags and some extra slots in inventory, etc...

Stop asking to pay for more things.

Hrothgar and Viera are a total train wreck as far as design goes. If SE was not prepared to fully support them as playable races, they shouldn't have done them in the first place. And tying hairstyle to face type was ridiculous. No need to compound the error by asking for paid hairstyles on top of the existing limitations of the system.

NB: Oh and yes, I DO remember when Yoshi P told us Au'ra players we'd be able to highly customize our horns. I believe we have 4 styles of horn available and they're attached inexorably to face type.

More hairstyles (and faces, for Hroths)? Yes. Paid? Hell no. The races are already locked behind an expansion and Fantasia (if not making a new character), there is absolutely no reason they should have to pay extra for something every other race can use.

Anyway, they already said they will be giving Viera and Hrothgar more hair so I don't see the point in encouraging them to make Viera hair a mogstation thing. If anything people should be demanding Hrothgar not have to pay to change the manes they do have ...

This would be what I would actually consider to be "the final straw" (or at least actually crossing the line) for the Mog Station. Holding new hairstyles of the new races hostage behind a monetary paywall while releasing nothing for them in-game throughout the entire expansion cycle.

Do I think they'd actually do this? No, it's essentially PR suicide. But it's always that "what if-" that still manages to nag me in the back of my mind in case they ever get particularly ballsy with the Mog Station's success.

I feel Viera suffers because of Hrothgar limitations. Horthgar was literally something no one asked for. A bestial race? Sure, that was wanted... Yet another cat race? No, no one asked for that. Now they are here and what did we get? A limited race, so poorly designed, it's customization breaks the schedule of improvements for both bastardized races.

I wanted Viera. Both Male & Female.

We got Female Viera true to design, but Male Hrothgar are just laughable, & i'm not speaking on just my bias but the sorry aspect that keeps those that play them having to spend actual cash to make even small changes to their characters.

However i feel about Hrothgar, they should have never been released in the state they launched and could have waited another expansion... a completed race. Now we have to play catchup for both missing genders for both Veira & Hrothgar & simple aspects of character creation/ customization.
