Bozja will be required to some extent for the relic. It was stated earlier that you must complete the Resistance story arc before you can complete the relic, and I would imagine that is going to require a lot of time spent in this new zone. If your progress in this area is tied to the RNG of being chosen for an event, that could become very frustrating.
