If you have to start the raid the very moment it comes out and can't delay it at all, the problem isn't with the game, its with you and your static. The raid will always be there. Stop playing the game like its a job.
It's your personal problem with your static . Not everybody go on vacation for holidays , a lot of people still work. 5.4 is early december you will still have a lot of time to prog and even kill it. So no they won't delay savage , especially for a whole month ....
No offense, but it isn't "hardcore prog" if it takes you longer than two weeks to clear the entire tier. By that point, you're in the midcore range. Now, I want to make this clear, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. People prog at their preferred pace. But hardcore prog is typically 30+ hour weeks and potentially 10+ hour days if your group really wants to maximize their odds at a week 1 kill.We never had to deal with a new raid during the holiday season. Because Covid has delayed their schedule by like 2 months or so having the raid come out near a holiday season is not good for a lot of people. Had it come out on the original scheduled time it wouldn't be a issue it would be on farm with like a clear in 1 hour a week and not a big deal. When a new raid comes out it usually takes 2-3 weeks of hardcore proging to get everything on farm for your average group not a world first group. Blizzard does this as well with their games, they never release a raid during December because they don't want to make people to feel obligated to raid.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
What holiday plans? It's 2020, no one has any.
Joking aside, unless you are going for World First or for some reason you're getting paid to raid there is absolutely no reason why you have to prog immediately.
I had someone comment that "hardcore raider thinks 2.5 hours 3 nights a week is casual" on here so....No offense, but it isn't "hardcore prog" if it takes you longer than two weeks to clear the entire tier. By that point, you're in the midcore range. Now, I want to make this clear, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. People prog at their preferred pace. I don't think people understand how "casual" "mid core" "hardcore" raiding works lol.
If your family can't understand you have raiding to do, and expect you to do things with them instead. Time to get a new family
If you want to pretend something is a job you don't get to pretend it doesn't have consequences.
