Back in 2.0 when the new Team took over FFXIV we were promised a lot of things that actually sounded kinda fun ... such as FC based events, now we are currently on Patch 5.3 and the idea of those things being added seams as close as the promised Smn Egi Glamour (thats a whole different debacle im not getting into here)

Whats the Problem?
Over the last few years nothing was added to act as a sink for FC credits, there have been absolutely no improvements to the system.

Do you remember when the FC rank was finally moved from 8 to 30? And what we got for that? We got a bank increase, which was very nice ... but we got 3 rewards that were called "increase of passive actions" let me run you through what that means. A Fc has inactive skills which are bought from a Grand company or handed in from crafting > loading them. This means that your FC leader has to go to the Grand Company only all 8 days in stead of 5 ... does this help anyone?

The last 10 Ranks didn't even have rewards ... their just to show off?

Our FC is sitting on over 60 million credits (we are not the only ones!) and we cant do anything with them, yes we can buy certain items ... they have a market value of like 5000 gil. There's like 20 Fc's competing to sell them.

Why cant we have options to burn them to boost our companies? (values are guessing, the idea is to require a number that cant be reached easy to have a progressive improvement and not be done in a month) Like ...

10m Credits to buy a 3rd action slot
50m Credits to buy a 4th action slot
5m to get a Glamour table as a housing item
5m for a new Bank Tab (total of 3 more)
5m for a bonus to Plant growing 5% faster (3 stages)
5m for a training bonus on birds (3 stages)
5m to give a slight bonus to rested exp. generation
5m for special FC unique mounts
1m to upgrade the FC wheel
500k for a special map FC, you can even recycle diadem, just give us something.
More FC specific events ... well "more" we have none.
100k for exp. potions we can hand out
20k for a Lv3 action (yes we still only have 1 per 3 day)

various housing items (like walls roof etc), and maybe even consumables, on that note give us a FC shop please, yea i can set up a retainer for cheap and place it in the garden ... but its gonna be cleared out when someone notices.

And while i know some of those sounds like a lot, most of those things are very minor and prestige, a 10 man FC is likely not gonna need a 3rd slot because they will only make enough for the 2 a day anyway.

Please stop neglecting FC's, Fellowships are maybe used but not as widely as SE might think, yet it is still the only vote system we have in the game because guess what ... FC's don't have one ... we have so many things that were added with little thought ...

Choco Racing, Lord of Verminion, Fellowships, High Sea Fishing and so forth, would you be mad if Lord of Verminion would've never been added but we got the FC things?

And now I'm looking at the "wow you can make pictures in dungeons" ... mate, what happened to running the dungeon and then making the pics? And im perfectly aware of what it is ... Screenshots are somewhat of a commercial tool to get ppl interested on Social media and stuff ... but please, give FC's a few crumbs of hours you use on the game.

Make our resources mean something! Please!

I remember when they first started talking about housing, Yoshida said you could buy a house for your FC and then expand it, according to your rank, by using FC credits. he said all kinds of fantastic things were coming with them like towers and extra rooms including some that were just used to show off rare items, increaded square yalmage, furniture only obtained with FC points, the whole thing. I assume they just couldn't make it work on a technical level and then, as per the usual, just never spoke about it again instead of saying, "hey guys sorry we couldn't do this due to technical issues, but here is A B and C that we do have coming."

That is the one thing I wish they could have implemented with FCs, it would solve so many issues at least on the housing front.

Thats exactly what i mean, give us some long term goals, maybe make them real long so you can progress slowly or decide A is more important then B. There has been not a single word by SE ... its like the EGI Glamour, and while i understand some of those things could maybe be tricky to add, a treasure map would be trivial to add and would still be a FC event.

You are kind of forced to use Fellowship and Discord for a proper FC because SE wont even have a voting System in their base FC pack. We need an upgrade not band aid fixes like 22 new ranks which have no value.

That is a lot of FC credits! Well maybe not for some super active/bigger FC. I totally agree with you OP, at least FC alliances, and maybe FC rivalry pvp events, and especially especially, being able to spend FC points(maybe not as expensive as suggested, but spot on in terms of how they work)To do things like upgrade chest space, glamour dressers, etc. When running FC, I always wondered why they didnt make more use out of things like the credits system for housing upgrades and other utilities that could be FC exclusive. Of the many things that brought my FC's together starting off. building FC credits is the one thing that FC can do together to strive for things, sad they didnt add more flexibility into the system, especially seeing now how the new ranks and especially the last 10 in particular add no perks and just seem like bragging rights
