Toxic PLD clemency spammers

Yes, yes, this has been repeated ad nauseum already but it still kills my enjoyment of the game.

Whenever I spot a PLD in my party I automatically assume that they're gonna just do a few aggro combos then start spamming Clemency on themselves thinking they're helping the healer out. They put in zero effort at DPSing and sometimes will even Clemency while using Hallowed Ground as if that helps them survive more.

Most of the time the PLDs that I play with end up exactly like that, using Clemency for no reason when they're not at risk of dying. I end up having to do much more DPS than usual to make up for their lack of effort.

It's just not fun at all to play as a healer when your PLD can't even trust you and Clemency spam when they dip below 90% HP. If you want to heal so much why don't you just go on healer instead of not doing any damage.

PS: Obviously, I'm not describing every paladin out there. But I have met way too many Clemency spammers that whenever I see a PLD I get triggered.

Bait and a well deserved mockery of another active thread, but still a valid critique of some PLDs. As long as you don't start claiming it's 80% of PLDs you've got my support. Bravo.

Funny thread, but I bet you can use Clemency to grab aggro off a healer who gives you regen ticks before a pull, bet its better than 1 shield lob even with an incoming group of enemies. Could be wrong though, and is certainly not an orthodox way of grabbing hate, but I've never been big on orthodox methods of grabbing hate in weird situations anyway. Dont care, voke has a better range than shield lob, sometimes use it to grab mobs too far out of reach, on occaision. Missed Abyssal Drains easy access, cause it used to be a nice opener for already grouped mobs that are in the distance.

To paraphrase the words of one smart and kind person who was very helpful... With toolkit what healers have right now, dpsing is easy even if all your group 5%. Just press your Holy/Assize (what i think you dont use) and do your job. Untill your PLD not dead - everything is fine.
