    We Don't Need New Dungeons

    The last time I counted, we have 147 dungeons, 148 if you count Castrum Lacus Litore.

    It's unfathomable why people always ask for new dungeons for every patch and get outraged at them reducing the number of dungeons to one per patch. We already have so many dungeons and their dev time is better spent on improving existing dungeons than creating a whole new one which takes much longer. Pharos Sirius is my favorite dungeon but we all know that it needs some fixes like the third boss's HP being too low. Can't believe people aren't happy about the **147** choices we have for dungeons...

    Actually the amount of existing dungeons is exactly one of the reasons why the number of new dungeons added per patch was reduced to 1. so in his trollish ways he is actually highlighting a reason why the devs did what they did.

    Well, the stated reason according to the English digest for patch 5.2 LL part 1 is:

    Also, please note that while we occasionally added two dungeons in a single patch, moving forward we'll be adding one dungeon per patch to be able to reallocate the development resources to other new content.
    Unless "new content" involves the squadron/trust system and expanding them to more dungeons, I doubt the number of existing dungeons is all that relevant to how many they want to release per patch going forward.
