Petition to add THF as limited Job

I know what you're all thinking: "But Advent, Rogue exists in this game which is literally Thief without the negative connotation!" And you're exactly right, however it has been brought to my attention that we really don't have a job that uses mage mashers, and to that extent I now introduce to you.... Treasure Hunter!

Locke is a lovable character in FFVI and his best weapon was equipping the genji glove and offering and doing 8 attacks with the Atma Weapon and Valiant Knife. Many people called him a thief, but he would always interject with the phrase "Treasure Hunter". My petition is to add the luxurious RP of a Rogue with "Steal" instead of "Mug" and cause the developers a slight headache at reskinning weapons to have a 3% chance at inflicting poison status, or silence on enemies, as well as giving the players a monotonous and arduous "Treasure Log" which you will then enact out on an adventure to steal, i mean ahem, recollect treasures that are hidden away in various dungeons, or being held on by various bosses(probably 3 bosses from dungeons of 15-50, and maybe an additional 2 more items "reclaimable" from bosses in dungeons level 60) On top of that there could be an additional 3 items you may randomely get for doing Treasure Maps in the various areas that are no more than 20 to 30 less levels from our current max. When you reach the peak level you will be introduced into a Carnival like, Heist instance, thats literally palace of the dead but reskinned walls to look like castles to which you will try to reclaim, treasures that are being protected by infrared lasers, or booby traps, to add to you Treasure Log. Since this will be a limited job, no need to worry about anyone joining your serious raids with the idea they're just going to steal the raid bosses weapons, because it will be a liesurely solo limited job, in which you can finally inact that pickpocketting dream.

Relive those epic moments like Locke, when you had to steal a merchants clothes to sneak by soldiers, and offer tea to a philanthropist, to get clues on how to best steal, er "reclaim" treasures hidden in his 50 floor high mansion. Steal security guards clothing, and sneak your way through a full 200 floors just to get that treasure thats being locked up in high security. Use your picklocking ability to unlock said treasure, and find secret entranceways to speed your butt out of their before too many guards on alarm catch you for being too slow, and your sleep daggers can only stop one of them at an attractive 3% chance per hit, to which your next autoattack will probably just wake them out of it anyway.

Sign up today, and enjoy the epic life of a criminal errrr treasure hunter, who gets an area called the "thieves den" totally not stolen from ivalician lore in tactics, where you secretly leave your treasure you've collected all over the floor like a dungeon area most adventurers swear a dragon would be squatting all over. Feed that hoarder fantasy, where one can never get enough gil for his efforts, and the true glory is having a secret area where you hide said treasure like a true pirate.

I'm just gonna copy my comment from the General Discussion topic:

"There was a suggestion a little while ago I liked, that base classes should have their own unique skills, that are lost when upgrading to the job. This would be something to give purpose of base classes as their own content, rather than it being a direct upgrade to the job.
It obviously wouldn't be enough for you to take a base class into current content over the job, but it could serve to make the early leveling process more interesting.

This would be a decent option for Rogue.
In the early game, where it's a little more relevant, you could use Steal to directly gain an item from an enemy without actually killing it. And it would serve as a farming tool for higher levels.

Other options could be giving Conjurer it's Knockback skill.
Thaumaturge could have Drain for better self sufficiency.
Marauder could have Berserk be an actual Berserk where you lose control for the duration but have higher speed and damage.
Archer could serve as a hunter/ranger and have a skill similar to Mug, so there's another option besides Rogue for farming items. Maybe it tags an enemy, and then when you kill it, it guarantees an item drop.
Pugilist and/or Gladiator could have a Revive skill.
Lancer... I'd probably do the reverse and just remove Piercing Talon from Dragoon while keeping it on Lancer. Maybe it would be an enmity generator or inflict Heavy to give it added utility.
Arcanist... probably do the same and remove Resurrection from Summoner tbh."

Some of those idea's might not be the best, but the general concept, could essentially turn all base classes into their own limited job in a sense, depending on the amount of investment in them.
Hell Bard has performance and the metronome, I don't see why they couldn't give Rogue a 'Treasure Log'.
