Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs
3) Remove any mods or injectors from the game or system
4) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
5) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
6) Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card
7) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything

hi,
i had change my GPU before i the issue began.

- my hardware is not overheat and didnt do any overclock
- i had tried this with any program. but the problem still encounter
- tried to turn off the full screen optimizations too, doesnt work
- i uninstalled and reinstall my GPU drivers, doesnt work
- i reinstalled the game too, doesnt work too.

it fix the problem and running the game without crash for past 4 days.

We would like to recommend performing a Clean Boot on the desktop to see if the crashing continues. This will prevent any programs from starting up when the starting when the computer first boots up. This can end up having adverse effects on the game when these programs are running in the background. To perform a clean boot for Windows 10: Open the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

Is an actual programmer looking into these or is it still not deemed to impact enough players and Square Enix's bottom line for the problem to be be fixed for real? I was having the same problem per another ticket, ended up installing on the C drive which somewhat fixed it for some time (as in I was having fewer crashes). I am having the same problem again, and the timing is indeed suspicious given that patch 5.35 just dropped. There are so many of these threads where Square Enix essentially ask customers to go through a laundry lit of steps, each more non-sensical than the other (just falling short of asking PC customers to buy a PS or and XBOX). The only sensible conclusion is that the code is a broken mess that needs to be fixed... To be very clear, the only way to get out of one of these badly coded areas of the game is to use another computer when logging in. How many people will bother and for how long before they unsubscribe? How many of these tickets that were moved to the closed section due to OP inactivity were in fact a lost customer?
