regarding the increased xp from last patch

i recently just made a new character and while i can understand upping xp some due to the devs cutting out some quests i feel its a bit overkill atm. I have litterly just started the titan quest line and am already almost lvl 50 and thats only doing available dungens and guild heists 1 time as well as hardly touching any non storyline quests. It kinda makes all the side quests a bit pointless and imo takes a bit away from the game.

You can level multiple classes in this game, that's what most of the sidequests are there for.

Level at least one of each role. That'll give you four jobs to spread the EXP out on! Level a tank, a healer, a melee DPS, and a caster DPS! Yay!

You are on a preferred world so you get the Road to 70 double XP buff - that's why you are so high.

I created a character on a prefered world and through main story + side quests that unlock things (blue icons) and 0 roulette or random side-quests, I can easily level 2.5 main jobs.
Did WHM (with a bit of RDM to dump a bit of excess XP) to 60 and unlocked DNC and now just starting StormBlood expansion with WHM 70 and DNC 69

I've just started an alt too, and tbf, I do think it's a little overtuned.
They could probably do with reducing EXP gains by about 20%, and then increasing the armoury bonus by 30% so that leveling alt jobs is easier instead.

Did you roll an alt on Brynhildr or one of the other servers on Crystal that is preffered?? If so its the road to 70 buff that is giving you your massive xp gains. I hit level 53 on my alt on Marlboro. Last night I just finally unlocked Tatta-Rok dungeon in the MSQ.

I did find it cool though, they give you weapons at intervals during the MSQ.
