While it may be the toughest fight we have yet. I think a lot of people and SE are underestimating some of the groups on this game. They keep saying "this fight is the hardest content yet" But as the game progresses and people are getting better gear + the battle system reform. fights have become easier as a whole. DH was tough at 1st (not sure when the 1st clear was) Ifrit was to. Moogle's and CC/AV were going to be harder we were told. Yet all 3 were beaten in the 1st night. I just have a hard time not seeing the same thing happening to Garuda.
But I really hope I'm wrong and it does take awhile to beat.
Moogle was Beaten Quick because of the Archer Exploit, an people just started to use it, since it was giving them wins. Moogle would have probably still would have went down in less time then iffy, but that's neither here or there :P. the 2 New Dungeons Can be hard if you don't know what your doing, AV being the worse, because of the Poison Gas, 1 step in the Yellow puddle is Practically Insta Death. For Elite Groups yeah of Course all Content from any game is considered " Easy" to them. But the people that are not inclined to that nature, it is considered Medium difficulty.While it may be the toughest fight we have yet. It's mostly subjective when you get down to it. It's a tough fight, but of course people will find the class stacking...err most efficient way to take it down, but in terms of content? Each content is harder as it goes because they have to design with x,y,z in mind. For example Ifrit was designed without materia in mind and before battle system was fully reformed. Moggle mog was designed with materia in mind so chances are those with pimped out materia gear will no doubt have an easier time than a ragtag group of people wearing their starter gear, even doing "naked" runs is much more likely on Ifrit than it is in moggle mog.
So in terms of concept it can indeed be the toughest content yet, but in terms of execution? It's all in how Garuda herself is designed.

Correct. I just have a hard time seeing SE designing her in a way that will stump the Elite Groups of the game. Once they beat it and put out the video's people will copy them and start beating it themselves. Yes you will have people that will struggle and find it challenging but for the most part I see many having it beat within the 1st couple of days. :/

That's typically how every fight has been. This game isn't gear dependent like other games are. It helps but isn't required sadly. Currently Wind based spells inflicts "Bleeding" now picture that with some other status, kinda like Diabolos in XI, Sleep+Bio.
mechanics from 11 primals? you mean bar spell and keep ppl hp at over 700 during the mobs 50 or 30% range tough?
HARDLY. these primals actually take a bit of skill. not a zerg then cure/buff then zerg again.
your making a mock of your own thought.


WAR/MRD has a skill that prevents them from being knocked back or at least it used too, Enduring March i think its called.
